Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provides City of Baltimore employees and eligible dependents with behavioral and emotional support through clinical counseling and resource referral services in response to identified problems and adverse events to improve the overall quality of life, productivity, and safety for our workforce. EAP services are free and the sessions are provided face to face or virtually.
EAP assists with:
- Grief/loss support
- Stress management
- Work/life balance
- Relationship/family concerns
- Financial difficulties
- Trauma
- Workplace violence
- Work performance issues
- Attendance problems
- Connection to resources (legal, financial, treatment)
- Addictions
- Depression and anxiety
- And more!
City of Baltimore employees and eligible dependents may self-refer or supervisors may refer employees as well.
Hours of operation are from 8:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m., Monday – Friday.
